Getting healthy from the inside out focuses on your “spiritual health” and you must make time everyday to feed your spirit just as you feed your body. Most people forget that this is the key to a balanced life. If you are “fit” on the outside, but empty on the inside, it affects how you think, speak and act.
“Diseases of the soul are more dangerous
and more numerous than those of the body.” -Cicero
As we take care of our spiritual needs, we are motivated to do and be more. It all starts with a thought and each thought leads to inspired action and inspired action yields amazing RESULTS. A healthy spirit requires conscious effort every day. It requires a level of commitment that often makes you nervous at first, but as with anything else, practice makes it perfect.
When you make the decision to get healthy, take into consideration that your spirit needs to be nurtured as well.
5 Tips for getting healthy from the inside out:
- Spend 15 minutes a day reflecting on everything you are grateful for in your life
- Meditate for at least 15 -30 minutes daily
- Practice deep breathing exercises when feeling stressed
- Write a positive affirmation each morning and repeat it throughout the day
- Invest in books that empower your soul and read a chapter each day
Kick negative habits to the curb and start looking in the mirror each day and saying “I love you…I really love you!” Your soul connects to the love you are feeding your spirit and you begin to feel healthier…from the inside out.
“You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe,
deserve your love and affection.” - Buddha
