There’s no shame in admitting you may need a refresher course since your last sex education class in the 8th grade - while I can guarantee most of us can’t remember what was taught in the class besides how to put a condom on a banana, I’m sure they weren’t teaching us lesbian health and safety tips. Mautner Project for Lesbians With Cancer Washington DC based. Mautner offers resources, support and assistance to lesbians and their families who are challenged with cancer. This site offers facts, directories programs and fundraising info. English and Spanish text.

Lesbian Community Cancer Project (LCCP) LCCP promotes lesbian health with a focus on cancer-related issues. The Chicago USA-based agency provides support, information, education, advocacy, and direct services to lesbian and non-lesbian women and their families of choice.

HIV/AIDS

National Native American AIDS Prevention Center (NNAAPC) A collaborative effort with the Ahalaya Project and six Native American organizations. All network participants implement the Ahalaya Case Management model to provide culturally responsive HIV-case management services and HIV education to local Native American communities.
